Ciro Battiloro was born in Torre del Greco, in the province of Naples, in 1984.
He attended classical studies and then the Faculty of Philosophy at the University “Federico II” of Naples.
He began his career shooting with an analog camera and he continues in this way, his faithful traveling “mate” is a Leica M6.
He is interested in social and anthropological reportage, documentary photography and travel.
His first reportage was THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH, realized between Italy and Romania. He also traveled to Morocco, Senegal, in the Balkans, where he made the reportage YORUKS OF MACEDONIA. His latest report was IRAN: LIFE, DEATH AND PRAYER.
His reports have been published on various Italian magazines, in 2014 he was awarded as part of the photo competition Europ'Atlas 2014/2015.
